Uh, no it's not. It could very easily remain stable or it could progress. Happens all the time in clinical trials.

For shrinkage to happen from a clinical standpoint (RECIST criteira), the tumor will need to shrink 30% to show a partial response.

Given that 4 of the nine ovarian patients had SD, and they did not mention any that had a PR or CR, that would mean the other 5 progressed.

But now, let's look at a quote from a recent PR from August:

"During Kevetrin treatment, four of the nine patients with advanced ovarian carcinoma were documented to have stable disease (by radiographic examinations) for 3 to 6 months while receiving Kevetrin. "

Since the 3 in the 9th cohort have finished their treatment at 350, then the quote indicates at least 1 has also progressed, as it is over 6 months since the 9th cohort finished (reported in Jan PR).

This also indicate that any number also stopped receiving the treatment.

I'm not sure where the 9th patient is in the trial based on the ASCO abstract:
