Greenie's greatest fear is that people won't believe the propaganda that he (Greenie) puts out through his various agents via online boards -- such as this one -- to the effect that Greenie will do anything to prop the markets and is, in fact, regularly in there buying like a mad man.

In short, Greenie fears that if people stop believing in the (imaginary) "Greenspan Gambit" then the markets will collapse.
