The market is important and I think there's broad agreement that the pending up-listing to NASDAQ will be an improvement.
The market CTIX trades on is relevant to the science. CTIX raises funds to keep the company afloat. There's been small biotech companies who have had science, but lost everything. Prime example Polymedix, which is how CTIX got B.[...] -Rdunn88
But the comparison to Polymedix should include the fact that they had a 1. A major clinical trial failure, and 2. Their P2a Brilacidin trial had imperfections, and 3. they had broad financing issues.
CTIX has financing in place at favourable terms sufficient for needs. The Brilacidin P2b had better results, and at a single dose which makes it a much more important candidate. It's also approved for Phase 3.
CTIX also has more clinical trials ongoing for more indications. So really Polymedix was a very different situation. As long as the clinical trials are successful, CTIX is in good shape. But it will be even better once it's on NASDAQ, trading above $5, and with increasing institutional ownership.
