Long distance...heavy-lift JT9D-7Q power had been the engine of choice...the reliability of 3A's is a atrocious, but this is how they have consistently run their operation...I believe the same people that sold 705BL to Baltia is also leasing them the engines (Logistics Air) and that speaks volumes...GLTB (Baltia) IMHO
