BLTA passed their heavy check last year during phase II. That's as in depth as inspections get. If the FAA signed off...she's fine to fly for many years.

Maintenance on a plane (ALL planes) neither begins nor ends...it just is (pardon the old navy expression). You can pull these up for any commercial aircraft.

This is a slide failure problem that is well know throughout the industry. Nothing more...nothing less.
