Danger signs for Intel Corp-Barron's

Intel (INTC) has been losing ground on its market share from AMD chip processors (AMD). Dell's (DELL) surprising decision to begin to use AMD chips over Intel's will definitely hurt the company's grasp on the market. While Apple Computer's (AAPL)decision to start using Intel processors is a victory, its only a small victory. Also, the Semiconductor Industry Association's optimistic forecast issued last week mentioned positive treinds in smartphones, handsets, computer games, and digital cameras. All of these fields are not Intel's forte. So, while Intel's stock is at a very affordable level right now it might pay to investigate the company's fiscal situation before investing.
