Wow, that was depressing. And yet, a year ago this month, Hudbay Minerals thought enough of copper mining to buy the Rosemont project here in Tucson. And the other day, the dreamers at Northern Dynasty re-elected their board of directors just as if mining will go on somewhere in the world. Well that's my pump for the day.

Oh one specific thing in the last news release that I did find encouraging for Hay Mountain. JB mentioned all the porphyry deposits in Panama and then noted that the latest one was found by ZTEM alone. If ZTEM is that good, perhaps LBSR can be a surviving and thriving exploratory company even when so many others fail. Let's hope in some future article, Brent Cook mentions LBSR as an exception to the rule. No relation to Rick Rule.
