sounds like a necessary step for efficiency, but I am wondering what is the big deal? Surely this has been anticipated as inevitable. Or is it actually difficult to do and if so, how so?
I'm trying to understand why this wasn't done in the first place, actually. I view the cloud as simply a different location where the calculations and storage of data is done (ie on the internet and not on individual servers/computers), so it seems to me that this is simply a change in venue of already-existing programming and output.
