Hi George: I agree. Governments have been counterfeiting paper money for milleniums. When they do so massively, gold DOES become the money of choice. When folks see their pieces of paper decline in purchasing power they tend to flock to a currency that tends to be stable and does not lose purchasing power. But I must add that we are nowhere near that stage yet.
