Hi Michael Soucie: I agree with your post about "storehouses of value" with the exception of oil and gas. It's kinda hard to schlepp oil and gas around. I tried it back in the '70's; went to pay for a loaf of bread and a quart of milk, certain the fellow would take my gas in exchange. But when I reached into my pocket all I got was a wet hand and an empty pocket.
