"You are hardly alone. All the US pilots who own a large chunk of SIAF made their Investment for the dividends when they become pensioners did they not?"
True enough, snow. However I think they may have gotten pensions back when they merged with American. Any airline personnel out there who can answer that?
I'm with the RHI guys and I bought for the capital appreciation potential of a hugely undervalued growth stock. Even by Chinese stock metrics a 20 PE for a stock growing this fast PROFITABLY would be resonable. 20 x 5.56/sh would be +$100/share stock. I can create my own dividend by just selling some shares.
I see a dividend as just a tool to get that 'fair valuation'. If enough Institutions are looking for tht then perhaps we should consider it. But we are not an institutionally owned stock now. Maybe once we get on FN or OSI and are campaigning for more Inst ownership the Board reviews that position. But that's not now. Maybe 3rd Q 16...if we have achieved more financing so we can keep our foot on the grwoth gas at the same time.
Same thing for buybacks. Just a tool to achieve a higher valuation. Should be used if a company doesn't have a ready use for it's cash. We do so it makes no sense.
Get listed. Get institutional investors on board. Get to the first 10,000 metric ton stage for the mega-farm. Get financing to put us on a fast track on stage 2. Keep producing results and get a fair valuation. I'll take car of paying myself a dividend once the stock is fairly valued. JMHO.
