Hey, I came back from Inchon Korea in 10-63, on a Navy Troop Transport ship, the USS Mitchell. We all ate in the Navy mess with the sailors. Even back then, the food was not that bad at all. Compaired to a MMTS I left SF on, to Japan then Korea. Terrible food!...LOL... The Army messes in Korea at that time were supper, even compaired to posts in the USA! Because Korea was considered a hardship tour. The cooks were all Koreans, taught by Army mess Sgts. For breakfast, one could order, to ones liking, all one wanted. Also HOT rolls every day but Sundays. Sundays were a catch, catch can day and cold cuts for dinner. They had to have one day off!...LOL...
