No - he purposely doesn't want to come across as a tout to his fans. He intentionally downplayed the plug. Anyone with half a brain could figure that out. It would have been nice to have the plug upfront in the video, but he's smart enough to try to make it appear as an aside to his fans in the video.

The guy doesn't want to pizz off his fans by being a carnival barker.
