Your analogy is outstanding! The mere talk of a buyout is utterly ridiculous. This is a 14 year old "start up" company. Have they ever posted a profitable quarterly financial, since 2001??? With the exception of people on this board, nobody's ever heard of this company. How did they get a deficit of $30,000,000.00 and have such minimal sales? Marani doesn't, won't, never has been successful in stores or bars. Why would anyone want to purchase a no name brand with such a horrendous sales history?? As far as marketing, they have a billboard in NY, but no distribution! They did have the garage rap tour as a marketing coup! Big news coming is what we've been hearing, yet no financials or even a late filing request. There are hundreds of vodkas with more sales than marani, even though it was claimed by the CEO that they have Nielsen data showing that they outsold major vodka brands, during marani 1.0! The financials have never reflected that and the report was never produced, which is typical. Still waiting on ACTUAL news and financials, not false claims...
