The SEC has watched Solomon Ali since 2005

In cases like these, it's perfectly okay to discuss other tickers if they illustrate something relevant.

It may be relevant to discuss the Bancorp International ticker.

In 2005 Solomon R C Ali, operating under the name of Richard Carter, was party to a fraudulent transaction involving Bancorp.

An SEC investigation showed the fraud, but couldn't pin anything on Richard Carter, as Solomon was then known. They pinned the blame on Mario Pino.

Solomon Ali's high profile involvement in REVO may be one reason why the SEC has taken a special interest in the company. It may explain why the SEC decided to taken action against REVO rather than any other of the many scams they could, just as legitimately, have pursued.
