It means that the Company is going to use the .01 price as the fixed number. Before it was tendering between .0001 - .01. But the company keeps extending the date because they still can't get the DTC to clear the tender electronically. If you call TDA, you need to get transfer through a corporate action department. So far, they still hasn't received any clearance yet from the DTC so still cannot tender the shares electronically. Therefore, it is just still a news. However, when I called today, they were saying the DTC is reviewing the tender offer.
If everything is true and cleared by the DTC then you can tender your shares electronically, then your shares will be locked till they are fully tendered then you will get the payment into your account. The guy at TDA said couple of weeks till you get the money.
