So we should have A64 2 Ghz in September and, if we take the scores at
http://www.amdboard.com/hn05120301.html
as indication that A64 1.4 is equal to XP 2200, the top A64 will be somewhat between 3000 and 3200. Not too much excitements, but at least enough to interest some people. Even if P4 3.2 is faster, A64 may attract those who are interested in 64 bits, need faster Java, 128-bit encription or just want something sexy.
