The Bellwether Report Issues a Morning Alert for Coattec Industries, Inc >>>>>
Jun 02, 2006 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Coattec Industries, Inc (CTCK), is a company that our research team will be tracking over the ensuing weeks. They recently came out with a significant corporate development, causing a market stir. The BWR Research Team will continue to bring its subscribers cutting edge research tools, and second to none customer service.
Coattec Industries, Inc owns the exclusive license to technology to create a proprietary coating that has applications in various industries, primarily the residential housing market. The main use of the Company's coating will be for roofing foils and housewraps that provide insulation and a humidity barrier while inhibiting the growth of mold in new homes. The coating's antibacterial properties make it useful in other industries, including the home improvement industry as filters for air-conditioning units, the automotive industry as a potential replacement for PVC, and the glass industry for abrasion control.
Coattec Industries, Inc announced over a month ago that DiversiPlast has reported positive test results of aluminum ridge vent samples provided by the Company's German partner, Meinecke Dachtechnologies. Attic ventilation systems in the U.S. must pass national and local tests specific to the geographic markets where they are sold, and the testing is administered by ICC Evaluation Service, Inc., the United States' leader in evaluating building products for compliance with code.
The tests are used to determine the NFVA, Net Free Ventilation Area, according to ICC-ES, per the Acceptance Criteria for Attic Vents and Static Product Measurement Procedure. These include between 10-20 tests and measurements, such as dust exposure tests, temperature cycling, weathering tests, resistance to wind-driven rain and snow, corrosion resistance. Additional local tests of these ridge vents that are to be administered are the Dade County tests from the Miami-Dade building code compliance office for wind-driven (hurricane) water.
'We are pleased to see samples of our partners' European ridge vents achieve positive test results for ICC-ES approval. Coattec plans to partner with DiversiPlast to offer one of the only products in the U.S. that have this approval and of the samples tested, we see immediate market opportunities with two specific types of special high quality aluminum corrugated roll product that are used to seal the hips and ridges. These products are UV stable, weather-proof, easy to install and have excellent ventilation properties. We anticipate that these products will be introduced during this year's Western Roofing Expo in June,' commented Bernd Meinecke, President and CEO of Coattec Industries.
Coattec Industries, Inc is currently trading fairly flat, but it was the sudden explosion in volume, which caught our eye. Although there has been no new corporate development to justify this change in activity this company has already traded near 30 million. Currently trading at $0.0003, I anticipate that next week could be quite exciting as the company works towards share holder value and corporate streghtening. The BWR Research Team will continue to follow the market sentiment on this company and numerous others.
