UMeWorld is now in receipt of the Value-Added Telecommunication Services permit ("VATS Permit") as previously announced. The VATS Permit is required by Chinese government regulators in order for the Company to collect revenue from UMFun users through China Mobile educational platform.
UMeWorld is making the final preparation for the imminent launch of UMFun on China Mobile's K12 educational platform in the Guizhou Province. The K12 educational platform services approximately 1.5 million paid subscribers in the Guizhou Province. This will be the 3rd Chinese Province to be penetrated by UMFun.
UMeWorld was invited by China Mobile to present UMFun at the International Conference on ICT and Post 2015 Education organized by UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China on May 23-25, 2015 in Qindgao, China. China Mobile announced the official launch of the China Mobile "AND" education platform during the conference. UMFun was presented to conference guests and government officials under the China Mobile "AND" education banner.
