Company focuses on the value of health information technology at conference

SALT LAKE CITY—Utah-based healthcare technology company, Novarad, will exhibit its latest advancements in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and universal viewing technology at the Healthcare Information and Management System (HIMSS) conference and exhibition.

Understanding how IT can – and does - improve health truly becomes reality on the three days our exhibit floor is open during HIMSS15,” said Karen Malone, vice president, meeting services, HIMSS North America.

Novarad’s VDI, NovaGlass, is built not only to virtualize any desktop environment or application, but to increase speed and performance while doing so. The application is scalable and can handle anywhere from a few to a few thousand users.

The MARZ Patient-Centric Universal Viewer allows physicians, nurses and other staff to access and view both DICOM and non-DICOM information on any device through a web browser. The HIMSS conference will take place April 12 – 16 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill. Novarad will exhibit at booth 6939.
