Yes lots of money at stake. But it is a fact that the SEC halts delinquent filers every day, without notice, just for being delinquent. Ive had it happen to me. They can halt a delinquent filer and then send it to the Grey sheets, which essentially stops market makers from being allowed to quote it... then from there if the company does not respond many are then revoked, and poof thats it. No more trading. ever. Its a huge risk of playing a delinquent filer. Ive had it happen to me on 2 others.
