I think everything the truly great minds have contributed to this discussion points to a singularly spectacular event that started it all, and that was a while back. What that actually means in a metaphysical sense is really up to the individual as he contemplates his place in all that. I think it was Carl Sagan who made the observation that the very atoms that comprise our bodies were created in the stellar furnaces, so we are indeed "stardust" or "children of the universe". Now, with all that, how does it help us to make our next trade profitable???
