Norvergence was promising T-1 for about $170 per month. They had no problem doubling it to 2 T-1's for $340. The only thing missing is web site, email, and DNS services. Great if you are your doing all yourself with several servers like us but no good for average J6P.

I get worried with these long term contracts since cellular, internet and long distance prices are much lower then 2-3 years ago. I think the same will be true going forward 2-3 years. So why lock in with this rate structure today. There is always a too much hard sell with these contracts.

These deals where you got to buy hardware upfront or promise term committments to depreciate the network hardware get me wordering that are telephone charges per minute virtually free. With cellular Norvergence was saying that per phone it was about $12-15 per month per phone for unlimited minutes. The fact that it was so low they were saying was due to fraud protection. Since they would be monitering calling patterns for a business service. That smelled too fishy to me.

Unrelated a Sprint rep call yesterday saying in AUG that they will be able to combine both long distance and PCS cellular on one bill. I have heard that for so many years from Sprint that I just can't really believe it.
