I had in what I thought were some reasonable buy points but they are not even close at the moment. I may raise my sights some into the close unless the gold stocks start coming down. My primary thesis is that a rate cut will bring in weakness in the $USD (good for gold) although the Fed/Treas may support it a day or two - no way of knowing about that.

Should that thesis prove wrong, I will have to reassess my thinking on gold. Well, just a little <gg>.
