well it was a nice trip - this kid Tyler Bryant(Texas boy) opened up the show by himself with no band and he was great. He produced a lot of sounds out of his box guitar with 6 or 7 pedals

Jeff Beck stole the show imo his young girl on bass shredded it like a lead guitar in a solo -


ZZ did what ZZ does was a great show but Beck and his lead singer were the winners in the rock battle

this song was so frikken good live

no fancy light shows or pyrotechnics just unadulterated rock and roll - for 4.5 hours all was right in my world

Tickets were 80 bucks t-shirts 40 bucks 16 oz tap beer 9.00 11.50 for wine cooler margarita - boy times have changed

on the way back I had to "shop" at all the junk stores my wife and her friend could find and there were dozens of them

just when I was reaching for the rope and looking at a tree I went in a junk store and found a framed old beatles poster with a untorn ticket to the 8/21/1966 Busch Memorial Stadium in the frame -even better it is a press pass ticket - it was the find of the day in a sea of junk - paid 10 bucks for it - life is truly good.
