Alarm Force will be paying peanuts in royalties.

Alarm Force settled to avoid disproportionate legal fees.

Patent trolls depend on this, to make their money. They know that it's nearly always cheaper for a defendant to settle than to incur the legal costs involved in disproving the infringement claim.

The royalty agreement is unlikely to be for a significant amount.
