REVO wouldn't have settled if patents were watertight.

The position is simply stated.

When a patent is strong you take the case to conclusion. That produces a court judgement validating the patent. And a positive court judgement adds to the value of any patent.

When the patent is weak you take whatever money becomes available, and run.
