ABBV/ENTA ~250 sales reps vs. ~120 at Gilead

ABBV needs more sales reps or more talented reps if V-Pak is to reach its potential.



If I recall correctly and if the above info from cafe pharma is right, then they need more _talented_ sales reps. that high number of sales reps would also explain why they complained about having difficulties to get even one or two prescriptions at the start (I think even Symphony had less than 500 weekly NRX in Q1 for Vpak, so if there are some states that go better and if there are some overachievers, that would leave one or none weekly NRX for the less talented reps).

So somehow ABBV's strategy might have been to also address general practitioners with a relatively high number of sales reps, but this has not worked out (why? it was even part of the ESRX-deal, any doctor can prescribe).
