There is a subject that came up a few days or a week ago; possible insurance refusals.
I have read on line in HCV forums that GILD has a program for folks needing help with getting/affording treatment. Other companies have had similar assistance programs for HCV treatments.
So....I have been reading about people who have been refused, and someone is always saying, call Gilead, try Support Path.
It's the internet, so I can't prove anything, but I believe some people do get turned down for various reasons. It could be that Gilead has a good network to connect the dots for people and get them on a treatment.
Getting back to the question; are people getting refused? I am inferring that yes, some people are. I don't always know why, or if there are reporting it absolutely correctly or accurately, but I am reading posts that suggest it, and posts that suggest that they are then getting on Gilead treatments.
So for me, the question is, if ESRX is covering all stages of HCV damage, where are the patients?
