Gallagher and Fairfield specialize in liquidating distressed assets not acquisitions. Gene Davis is also an expert in distressed situations. Since we have KKR for M&A it makes one posit why WMIH needs Gallagher and Fairfiled. What assets does WMIH have to liquidate that need experts like Gallagher and Fairfield? Is there more here than meets the eye? Time will tell!
