Eddie Abravanel, VP Business Development

Eddie Abravanel is originally from Washington DC, a veteran of the medical maruijana industry, has years of experience in cultivation and production. After losing his father to cancer, the knowledge that cannabis had given his father relief during treatment, spurred Eddie’s passion for cannabis, but more focused on medicinal applications and the maximization of all cannabinoids. In 2008 Eddie was at the forefront of the Michigan medical marijuana movement when he spearheaded, marketed and ran Detroit’s first dispensary, “Ed’s Meds”. Eddie provided free medicinal marijuana for qualified terminally ill patients. A graduate from George Washington University, Eddie has consulted with hundreds of patient cultivators in Colorado and Michigan. Eddie has travelled extensively searching the world for different cannabis strains gaining immense strain knowledge, and is considered a “bud sommelier” by his colleagues. Eddie’s passion for cannabis has evolved into creating a wide variety of products using the latest extraction techniques used to maximize all that cannabis has to offer. Now as the Director of Business Development for Signal Bay Inc. Eddie is continuing to help forward and positively influence the cannabis industry.
