General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) and ALSTOM UNSP ADR (OTCMKTS:ALSMY) seem interested in acquiring the transportation business of Bombardier, Inc. (OTCMKTS:BDRBF) for which the company was in talks with banks for new investment. Yesterday, news was released related to the spin-off of Bombardier’s transportation segment for $5.4 billion, according to AltraCorp Capital.
