AAVL—Seattle Times article on color-blindness program

On the topic of AAVL, does anyone know why the ongoing Phase 2a trial due to read out middle of this year in wet AMD is being run exclusively in Australia? That just struck me as kind of odd, not that that should necessarily have any bearing on the results. But I do wonder even if data is positive (Phase 1 data certainly seemed positive), will some question the replicability of such data in a U.S. trial?
