By the way I read you have referred to an old article to discuss about the vector, published in 2008. Bear in mind CLDN uses AAV1, which is different to AAV2, it is not the same.



Unfortunately recombinant AAV nomenclature can be confusing, and you may be similarly confused. Mydicar is AAV2/1 which is also referred to shorthand as AAV1. In Celladon's papers, references to AAV2/1 and AAV1 are aimed at the same virus.
