Repeat of Today for Tomorrow?

Future are down, to 38.24, which, if it holds, means there will be a gap down tomorrow morning, just as there was a gap up this morning. If that happens, I will go long at the low point, (if I can figure out where that is!) and expect that the gap will be filled on the upside, sometime later in the day. Today's price action supports the old addage that gaps up or down are generally filled.
