LOL - thanks. I looked at the website and the Blue Bowl is more my speed - all the other stuff looks too much like work. I just want the experience of panning for a few days just for the heck of it. A nugget or two would be nice, but I have no illusions of making a "find" or making a career out of it.

Yep - the Blue Bowl your dad invented would be perfect. It would make me think I knew what I was doing.
