(Your) False premises lead to false conclusions.
Now to enlighten you:
Facts:
- NBRI dug the initial test pits and based on the results planned to start doing it on a larger scale;
- This larger scale project met some opposition which was dealt through scientific studies (archeological, heritage);
- NBRI did everything right including accommodating the opposition so the government has to judge the facts and decide upon granting (again, as they have already done that in the 1st place)the final permit or not;
- As expected there are NO real issues down there so that would be revealed in reports. The government cannot be biased so seeing that there are no real issues they have to grant the mining permit, OR to move and declare that region a reserve, park whatever to prevent any future mining of the area so to speak to satisfy the irrational opposition;
- Case 1: Mining permit granted = Cash flow into NBRI's treasury :)
- Case 2: The government declare the zone a park - it comes at a cost as according to regulations they would have to compensate actual claim owners according to the value of their claims (and this is another discussion).
- Note: Meanwhile this pro-mining government opened more land to placer staking around NBRI's claims and the company took advantage and staked some more :):):)
As simple as that!
