'jimneutron' Good post and welcome to the Elite Pharma MB. Exactly right in that the opioid agonist and antagonist go for the same receptors in the Intestinal, Spine, and Brain area. A blessing indeed as Naloxone a very short half-life antagonist has been used to bring back to life coma unconscious opioid agonist abusers. The Naloxone pushes the agonist off of the receptors.
