There's a big difference between picking and posting about stocks and regular investing. I own a few stocks and I don't sit on the boards posting "XXX stock going up, up, up!" "$20 after hours!!!" and all that bull. I do my dd, invest my money and just watch my investment. I'll go ask some questions, post some real news, positive and negative, and that's it. A good stock will go up based on fundamentals and news. It doesn't have to be artificially supported with tons of "XXX stock is taking off" "get on for the ride" "hold onto your seats." I don't try to affect teh stock price by posting rah rah all day long. I don't try to illegally manipulate the price of my investments. The only person who would sit and post "great investment, I'm buying more" "XXX stock, me want " "SEVU, yummm" is someone who is trying to get the price up with their posts. I believe that is stock manipulation. I believe that is wrong. That is where you and I completely disagree. You think that is perfectly fine. I think it is stock manipulation.
