Agreed Tails, however in the world of conflict of interests, probably very minor and maybe that's why CTIX is letting NASDAQ vette board members (which I must admit, in my 30 years of stock investing, this is the first time I ever heard of an exchange vetting possible board members)
Compared to Ackman - Valeant/Allergan and others such as Randal Kirk, Chairman/CEO of Intrexon who is also on the board of directors of Ziopharm, and they have a partnership on a drug, and many, many others, to me, Shapiro being on CTIX's board is not aconflict considering where the trial is. And he could resign as lead investigator, once a board member, and let someone else be lead investigator to finish phase 1.
Like I said, unlikely, maybe, if it happens, the truck.
Best regards.
