I read that Economist article too. It made me realize just how value-added the regulatory approval management and marketing roles are, and which are mainly what Big Pharma brings to a partnership or acquisition, because these require capital and scale. So under these circumstances, how does a little biotech become a Big Pharma? It would likely have to possess two or more potential blockbusters, heavy support in the capital markets, and a long-term strategy by management. Otherwise it can't hope to go it alone.

Anyway, our endgame is a buyout. Interestingly, if management had the desire, and got good at handling WS analysts, Cellceutix would be a contender (I think).
