Logically speaking, why would insiders who have the most shares and the most to lose or gain do things which are more likely to put at risk their enrichment scheme with actions which are counter productive?
Seems to me, there are much easier and more effective ways to implement an enrichment scheme than to sell shares and spend it all on things which really aren't enriching in and of themselves. e.g. trade shows, hiring of professionals, experts, equipment, etc. imo
