The question for me is why would a potential average investor want to commit serious money today for the longer term(not talking about trading)when it will be a number of years before the company can become profitable and with many question marks remaining?
Couple that with the with the fact that the money has been dead for years whereas most sectors of the market have soared during that time, and imo it would seem that many folks would come back when things have cleared up somwhat and that at least profitability is somewhere on the horizon.
The fact that rare manipulated spikes in the stock price are not/have not been sustainable in most cases for more than a day or so is also disturbing.
Yeah to be fair, I have held on for all of these years simply because I didn't know then what I do now, and I have designated an exit point for some of my core holdings if it should break $6 with some conviction to the downside.
That said, if I was a new pontential investor, I would have to see/hear a lot more in the way of evidence that my investment had some good potential in the short to intermediate term and not simply rampant optimism and forward looking statements as to what COULD occur at a much later date and with the simple assumption that it will be smooth sailing.
