My only regret was that I was by myself. But the older I get, the more set in my ways I get. I sometimes wonder about looking for Miss Right, but then I am so set in my ways, I don't know if I can cope. And this illness still kicks my rear here 'n there, but I seem to be coping okay.
Take it from a 47 year old who is getting married for the first time next month - it can happen.
The first thing you need to be is happy with yourself. No one will like you if you don't like yourself. Go out and meet people - no one is going to knock at your door. You are very religious - doesn't your church sponser events?? Try that.
I was very set in my ways, and always wondered if I could truly share my life with someone. Guess what? With the right person, it is very easy.
