plexxus: Too many folks are always looking for a pattern to be in play. Sometimes there just isn't a pattern in play. However, folks plotting trend lines loosely as you do can just about always come up with some sort of pattern be it real or imagined.

Just because the market broke the expected direction, does not make a loosely constructed pattern a real pattern.

The problem with charting with loosely constructed trend lines is that bias often enters the plot.
