Peru has a law that says citizens can vote down resource projects in their area if they think it will impact the health, or well-being of the residents of that area. Or, if it will impact the environment. So, I would not invest my money in Peru or Ecuador. Ecuador is a socialist country with a leader the likes of O if you catch my drift.
