To what end do you think TC devoted time and effort of several staff engineers on the pilot program? That engineering effort was in large part doing the integration work to custom fit AOT onto the Keystone.
STWA has acknowledged TC as a development partner. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if TC recommended some of the components that comprised the AOT so it more easily integrated into the Keystone.
Those efforts were well spent. The integration has been done and can be leveraged at other pump stations, minimally, on the Keystone; at a maximum, on all of TC's pipelines.
