I can tell you that I agree wholeheartedly with G&L on that the sooner they cut ties with the MSE brand the better. I really don't believe there was any recall, but possibly the fact that Walgreens discontinued it on shelf and sent out a notice to have the stores ship the product back to the warehouse. The biggest reason would be due to expiration dates than anything else. This is common practice where they would be reimbursed for all products that were beyond the expiration date on the product.
I have done my best to try and connect with Mr. James and get that question answered, but he has been too busy to speak with me. As far as I am concerned they need to concentrate mainly on the CBD brand, which has a much greater potential than MSE would ever have. For that matter, it has more potential than any of the other brands, including the Bikini Ready brand, regardless of how well it is selling. The CBD brand can be first in the market with no direct competition on the shelf with high profit margins. I made this very clear on my last phone call with Mr. James and Mr. Kras.
CBD is the brand that will really make a difference here in short order, but we need to jump all over it and get to market ahead of anyone else to claim the lions share of this in the retail market for a long time. We have other categories within the CBD arena that they will be adding and this is what they should be focusing most of their energy on. They have taken the right approach so far and now they have to follow through and start gearing this up for a much bigger introduction this year, now that CBD is legal on the federal level and in 23 states. They may lead with their non-cannabis CBD product, but now they have to start gearing up for the cannabis version of CBD in about 4 to 5 categories for the retail market. The opportunity is there and they need to run with it now! Cheers!
