Mathematical models used by EXAS show that Cologuard at a 1-year interval reduces CRC mortality by 73% (similar to a colonoscopy every 10 years), while Cologuard at a 3-year interval reduces CRC mortality by a percentage in the high 60s. (Source: EXAS 4Q14 CC.)
I.e., the incremental risk reduction from getting tested with Cologuard more frequently than every 3 years is relatively modest, which explains why EXAS has not tried to push the idea of more frequent testing.
