RE: Precious and base metals market.

Gold is not at all-time high prices yet, but other metals in the group are, it is possible all the metals in this group reach new high prices. There are people who believe there is manipulation in some precious metal prices, but economists need careful study to determine the dynamics of a particular metal market, and these people are grouping them all into one basket. Gold prices have been accused of being manipulated,by speculators, but that is not necessarily wrong. Even though the precious metals producers and consumers might be upset in the market.
Free-market controls in place do temper markets, and the fundamental economic forces do play a part as well.
